The journey began with a vision inspired by my passion for music. The Akai MPCX, with its iconic presence, became the canvas for my creativity. The drive to create and customize this beloved instrument fueled the initiation of this personal project.
Every detail of the Akai MPCX, from its sleek design to intricate components, was meticulously modeled and animated using Cinema 4D. The software's ability to handle vast instances, showcased in the 2024 version, added a layer of enjoyment to the creative process.

Beyond the original model, I explored new skins to give the Akai MPCX a distinct personality. A vibrant palette, featuring a pattern created in Photoshop for the purple version and a play with blue tones for the blue version, aimed to make the MPC even more noticeable and loved.

The final visualization was brought to life with the power of Redshift rendering, ensuring realistic lighting and visual fidelity.
To add dynamism, I utilized vertex map animations, enhancing the intro and highlighting the interior pads. Cinema 4D's versatility in handling such animations contributed to the project's dynamic flair.
The motherboard, a critical component, was adorned with intricate details using displacement maps. Credit goes to Noah Qehzy and his YouTube Channel 'ThatsQehzy' for providing greebles that enriched the motherboard's texture.

This project is a celebration of the marriage between creativity and a profound love for music.
